Shipping & Import to the USA and Europe
Buying automation parts internationally doesn't have to be complicated. This guide explains how parts get from our warehouse to your door — couriers, Incoterms, duties and the paperwork involved.
Shipping options
Industrial parts are typically shipped by international express courier — DHL, FedEx or UPS — which offers door-to-door delivery with full tracking in 3–7 business days to the US and Europe. For larger or heavier orders, air or sea freight can reduce cost but adds transit time.
Incoterms, explained simply

| DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) | AXON pays duties and import tax; you receive the goods with nothing else to handle. |
| DAP (Delivered at Place) | We deliver to your door; you handle import duties and taxes on arrival. |
| EXW (Ex Works) | You arrange pickup and freight from our warehouse. |
Most of our buyers choose DDP for a single, predictable landed cost.
Customs and duties
PLC controllers, drives and I/O modules generally carry a low or zero import duty in the US under most harmonized-system (HS) headings, but rates vary by exact classification and country. Buyers in the EU pay import VAT and may need an EORI number. We provide accurate HS codes and values on the commercial invoice so clearance is smooth.
Packaging for safe arrival
- ESD-sensitive boards are sealed in anti-static bags.
- Drives and power supplies are wrapped in anti-shock foam.
- Every parcel is marked with the correct handling and country-of-origin labels.

- Test or conformance documentation for surplus items
Lead times
In-stock items ship within 24–48 hours. Request-lead-time items are quoted case by case, typically with an ETA within 1–3 weeks depending on the manufacturer.
